Pastor Grant Shende Yeh
Pastor Grant Shende Yeh was born in Wuhan (Hankou) in mainland China in 1947 and came to Taiwan with his parents in 1949. He was raised and educated in Taiwan with a master’s degree. He believed in Jesus in Taipei in 1973, married Sister Jinrong Guo in 1978, and have two sons. In 1984, his whole family immigrated to the United States. Before immigrating, he worked for Chunghwa Telecom in Taiwan. After immigrating to the United States, he lived in New Jersey until 2015, then moved to Palm Bay, Florida. During 30-year residency in New Jersey, he and his wife both worked as pharmaceutical statistical programmers in different pharmaceutical companies. He also attended local church regularly, served the church, lead Bible group studies, taught Sunday school and served on short missions.
One day while reading Isaiah 6:8, where God said: “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”, his response was the same as Isaiah’s, “Here am I. Send me”. In 2008, on the way back to the United States from a short mission in Serbia, he decided to study in seminary because of the introduction from a companion on mission. From 2009 to 2017, he obtained two master’s degrees in Christian studies (M.C.S.) and Divinity (M. DIV.) from China Evangelical Seminary North America, California. After passed the assessment of the Alliance Southeast in 2021, with the calling of God Grant started to serve as a pastor of the Space Coast Chinese Alliance Church (SCCAC), Florida from New Year’s Day in 2022. He will shepherd the church of the Lord Jesus according to His will, and may all congregations become disciples of the Lord Jesus, glorifying God and benefiting people, let SCCAC be a beacon in the surrounding area and community, and may the Lord Jesus increase the number of saved people to His church daily.
